Hi there, just wanted to share my thoughts with you all concerning an idea i’ve had for the Winterton Legacy.
When Danablu died I thought that was the end and I started to look at other challenges to try. I did come across one I hadn’t heard of before that sounded interesting. It’s called Through History. I figured it would also be a great way to show off some of the amazing CC/store content that is available that I for one rarely use.
In the end though the Wintertons didn’t end. Harmony became the next heir and the legacy continued. (thanks to all who voted btw!)
The thing is though I keep thinking about that challenge. It is so different and I would love to give it a go. I think running three legacies at the same time is a bit too much though!! That’s where my amazing idea comes in.
I thought what if I combine the adoptacy and the new challenge into one. Obviously I would condense it to fit in with the remaining generations. I would probably do Tribal, Medieval, Victorian, 1920s, 1970s or 1980s and finish back in the present day.
What do you think? Let me know your thoughts.

I love that Through History challenge idea! Though given the first few generations can’t adopt, might be hard to continue this adoptacy with it… maybe try another challenge for just a few generations of the Wintertons, to finish, then start new for the Through History one? I’ve done quite a few one or two generation challenges that could work for the adoptacy; child breadwinner is one, along with runaway teen. Given Harmoney isn’t yet a YA, could work?

I did ponder leaving it for a new legacy but I have already found another challenge that works better for both sims 3 & sims 4. (depending on how I feel about sims 4 by that point!) Plus I would probably have omitted the pioneer generation anyway due to being American history, therefore my knowledge of the time is severly lacking. My plan is to sit down and go through the rules for both and merge them to suit the Wintertons. I may choose to ignore the no adoption rule. I like tweaking the rules!
I have heard of the child breadwinner challenge but as Harmony is technically an only child that wouldn’t work here. The runaway teen challenge is one that interests me but again I don’t think it would work here. That would mean leaving the rest of the family behind and I don’t want to do that, I love those guys.
