Chapter 1.4 My Little Grape

Phew finally got round to doing a new chapter.  New kitten is quite the handful but managed to tear myself away long enough to get this done.

I want to start by saying that Tobias proved his worth by getting me a crib!! I guess he can stay.

Tobais: I knew you liked me really. ❤

I do find your childish ways cute.

Jacklyn: (I find them rather annoying)

It did take several attempts and stealing nearly most of the contents of the room but Tobias FINALLY went for the crib *happy dance*.

Tobias: No babies here, they won’t miss this…..Yoink

I love the little yoink noise he does everytime he steals something.

He then proved his worth even more by getting me a stove.

Tobias: I wonder if those hotdogs taste like golden jellyfish

My guess is no.

Jacklyn meanwhile was invited to a party at Lucien Hyde’s house.  When one of the guests started playing his guitar to entertain the other guests she used this as a helpful distraction to nab the easel on the balcony.  One of Jacklyn’s children may end up using this.

Jacklyn: Never mind the kids, I want to try it out. *rolls wish to learn painting skill*

She also used her pregnancy to start a little garden now that I have enough funds to purchase a fence to go round it to keep those a damn zombies out.

Jacklyn: Mighty empires must start somewhere, and they can’t march on thin air.

I think you have the wrong game dearie.

Jacklyn: Why do you keep calling me that?

I’m watching ‘Once Upon a Time’.  (Great show, check it out.)

Not much else of interest happened at this time so lets skip to the birth of baby no.1

Jacklyn: Uh oh, I feel a disturbance in the force.

Nope your just in labour, you need to stop watching all those sci-fi films.

Jacklyn: Everyone needs a hobby

Jacklyn: Ok breath, got to keep baby in till I reach hospital.

Good idea, I don’t think anyone wants to see you give birth in front of the grocery store.

After a quick trip to the hospital little Miles was born.

Jacklyn: That’s how you are going to describe childbirth ‘a quick trip’!

Yup.

Tobias: HUNGRY!!!

*sends to park*

I should probably mention that the naming scheme for this generation is Phoenix Wright. A great series of games for the DS/3DS, check them out.

Little Miles is named after the lead prosecutor from the early games Miles Edgeworth. Possibly my favourite character from the games.

Jacklyn thinks it’s a good idea to walk home in the rain with a newborn.  I laughed when I realized the hospital was just the other side of this iron fenced house.  Their property is the field you can just about see to the right of Jacklyn.  Convenient huh?

Jacklyn: Nothing like a nice stroll right after giving birth.

Tobias is a great father and often tends to Miles without my prompting.  I wish all my sims were like him.

Tobias: There you go little dude

Jacklyn: (OK he can stay) 

I think she’s warming to him.

After feeding time Jacklyn decided it was time to take her relationship with Tobias to the next level.

Jacklyn: Marry me and be my partner in crime forever.

Well that’s original

Tobias: *squeals* I got a shiny!!

Jacklyn: Don’t make me regret this

After that the cocoon got boring so I aged him up.

Miles: Why eyes hurt?

That’s the obligatory birthday cross eyes

This is Miles before I made him over. He has his mothers eyes and his fathers hair.

Miles: I is cute ❤

Most simmy toddlers are, although I have seen a few exceptions.

Miles was abandoned soon after so his parents could work on baby no 2.

Jacklyn: Is this my future now, a baby maker?

For the moment yes

*lullaby* 😀 😀

Miles: mama? dada? *sniffles*

Miles: WAAAAA!! I done stinky! 😥

Anyway makeover time!

Much better.  His fav colour is purple he ended up looking little a grape or ribena berry hense why the chapter is titled ‘My little grape’!

Miles: OMNOMNOMNOM

Oh yes and he got a teddy bear that Jacklyn got from rummaging in garbage cans.  He is called Phoenix after this guy

Phoenix Wright is the main character from the Phoenix Wright games.

Jacklyn: You’re going to be a big brother sweetie.

Miles: OBJECTION!

He’s so cute ❤

Distractions

Sorry I haven’t posted a chapter for a while. I have recently got a new kitten who is adorable and very distracting

Chapter 1.3 When one thief just isn’t enough

Look isn’t this town pretty.

Jacklyn: Why are you showing a picture that hasn’t got me in it?

I am trying to show the beauty of Midnight Hollow. Stop spoiling the intro

Jacklyn: You only took that picture because of the rainbow.

You sound a bit grouchy how about some breakfast?

Jacklyn: OK *rushes to consession stand*

Hold the phone who’s that sitting behind you?

Jacklyn: *is to distracted by food to notice* So many choices, what to have.

Nothing much happened after that and I couldn’t find the guy.

Jacklyn: What guy?

Doesn’t matter just go steal something good.

Jacklyn: How about this table, ooh and this TV!

Works for me.

I sent Jacklyn to the fire station to fulfill some of her needs when who should appear.

Jacklyn: Who, this guy?

Quit interupting.

Jacklyn: Maybe you should get to your point quicker.

Stop grumbling and go say hello

Jacklyn: You can’t tell me what to do!

Actually dearie I can!

Jacklyn: Details.

So Jacklyn talks to the guy (His name is Tobias Marshall) and they end up playing tag.

Jacklyn: I win!!

Tobias: I don’t mind loosing to someone as purty as you. *stares lovingly*

Jacklyn: (Well done you’ve found another freak!) Thanks

He is the best we’ve found so far, I’m sure you’ll grow to like him.

Everywhere Jacklyn went after that this guy was sure to follow. He is beginning to feel a bit like a stalker.

Tobais: Just coincidence I assure you.

If you say so

Tobias: I do. 😀

After spamming the romantic interactions they are finally in a relationship.

Jacklyn: (I still don’t think this is going to work out)

You don’t have a say in this.

Tobias: You taste good ❤

Jacklyn:(I hate you)

No you don’t, now make me an heir.

*lullaby* 😀

I moved Tobais in and was suprised to discover he has the klepto trait too.  Happy days.  This will be helpful when Jacklyn starts popping out sprogs.

Jacklyn: I’m not ruining this figure by getting pregnant.

Too late dearie.

Jacklyn: Out the way! Gonna hurl!!

Tobais: What’s going on?

Hooray, baby time!

Jacklyn: Why me?

Because this is a legacy and an heir is needed.

Jacklyn: Can’t Tobias have the babies instead?

That would be impossible.

Jacklyn: What about toilets, are they needed?

Meanwhile at home Tobias is keeping himself busy. XD
