The Mendoza ISBI

Idiots do it their way

About the Mendozas

This is an ISBI challenge or I’m surrounded by Idiots to give it it’s full title is where you can only control one sim, called the torch holder.  All other sims are left on free will to do as they please.

If you start at the beginning you will see that it did not originally start out as an ISBI. Originally this was going to be a thief legacy.  This is something I read about, found interesting and thought I would try.  Basically a thief legacy is like a normal legacy except you have to beg, borrow and steal to survive. The rules I used were a combination of the Klepto King challenge and a blog I was reading called ‘A Legacy of Theives’

I changed this to an ISBI from generation 2.  My reasons for doing this were simply that I couldn’t stick to the rules. One of the things I love about the Sims is building and designing their houses.  The nature of the thief legacy meant I couldn’t do this.

ISBI Rules

The Torch Holder (TH) is the only Sim you can control.  The founder must be a Young Adult.

Pets are allowed, I choose to control them at a minimum.  Any urinating by pets does not affect the score.  Having pets taken away by a social worker however does.

There must be at least 2 children per generation.

When a new heir is picked and becomes the torch holder you can not go back to the old torch holder.
