Chapter 3.9 Dreams come True

So I have another chapter for you, exciting things happen this time.  But before all that I have a little annoucement about Generation 4.

I have been looking for potential spouses for gen 4 and I am so exicted about who I have been allowed to use.  I wasn’t going to use another blogger’s sim so soon but after getting permission I thought lets go with it.

I am very excited to annouce the the spouse for gen 4 will be 24hourspar Daye from Dayes of our Lives. Click here an scroll down to see her.  I have decided to use her regardless of the gender of the heir.

OK excitement over, on with the show.

I start this chapter with Maya’s fail.  You will see what caused this as things progress. She was so close to the chair as well.

145 and still kicking.  Seriously how are you still going?

Oh and in case you can’t guess by her usual choice of maternity wear Magrat is pregnant again.  I had kids music blaring all throughout her pregnancy so high hopes should be had be all.

This is the only picture I have to represent Melon reaching level 5 of the culinary career. He is now a painter.  This time he has to start from the bottom but he is already at level 6 in painting so not a problem.

Ok so this is the first of a couple of things I am throwing in for those of you trying to pick a favourite.  I’m nice like that. 😀

Magrat: Sometimes I think he loves that damn cat more than me.

Nolan: This is my one true love.

What about your wife?

Nolan: True love.

Strange sims, arriving in droves? must be a party.  These two are Lashonda and Theron, Apollo’s children with his wife.

 

Here they are minus the bad hair and fashion choices.

Piper: Baby incoming. *bark, bark*

Magrat you have the best timing.

Weetabix: This I do not need to see.

Maya: ARGH not again! What do I do!

Miles: Um, did we come at a bad time?

Maya: Were did that gnome come from?

It’s a girl! yay.  We technically a girl and two boys.  The girl is Lucky Charms & the boys are Ready Brek & Rice Krispies.  I shall give you their traits when I have their toddler pics.

 

Quick interlude to show you Zak as an elder.  Can’t understand how Apollo and Miles can still be adults though.  Guess that’s the joy of story progression.

While Magrat is inside giving birth, the birthday carries on because I kind of clicked on the cake before all that started.

Tobias is the lucky one to bring the birthday girl to the cake.

Oh dear god what is that.

Oh that’s better, less offensive to my eyes.  Her new trait is unstable, not one I have used before so that will be interesting.

 

Tobias: Oh no he didn’t

He is a quick glimse at the new babies in the nursery to point out that both Ready Brek and Rice Krispies have yellow skin.  I have seen them all as toddlers and I am seriously considering doing an heir poll this time as it is so hard to chose just one.

Still *does a happy dance at yellow babies*

Tobias: Hold still

All Bran: What are you doing?

 

Tobias: Granddad loves you.

All Bran: Cheeks hurting.

 

All Bran: Please don’t do that again.

Funny thing is they got positive relationship boost from this. 😀

First time I have seen that interaction though.

The new babies are popular with everyone and there is soon a massive queue to cuddle them.

Miles: Me first! Me first!

Raspberry: Way ahead of you old man!

 

Miles: Fine I shall have cake instead.

Chapter 3.8 The One with too Many Birthdays

So last time the twins became toddlers, Weetabix was discovered to be a witch and Maya completed her LTW all on her own.

Maya: I’d like to see Melon do that 😀

So would I!

Maya: Hmph, no one is as awesome is I

Moving on. First up a birthday.  Coco Pops adult birthday to be precise.

Coco: I have decided to grow up here, near the dogs pee puddle.

Piper: This does not interest me.

 

Aw cute.  No tail though poor thing.

Coco: I request a treat now. or a hug, hugs are good.

Ha ha! This is what my cat would say if he could talk!

Tobias is still going strong at 140! he is getting more and more possessive of the indoor rocking chair.

Tobias: But that’s my spot. No one sits in my spot.

Melon is still a great dad and is usually on hand to care for them.

 

Not that the others ignore the twins.  There is usually a queue.

Melon: Does that mean I can relax and let the others do all the work?

Magrat: No, you lazy bum! 😡

Ok more birthdays! Doesn’t time fly.

Melon: I’m hungry is it time for cake now?

All Bran is up first.

Everyone turns up to cheer him on.

Nolan: I want to sleep.

Don’t you pass out on me.

 

All Bran: That’s my cake, I don’t see why I have to share.

 

Here he is after a much needed makeover.  His new trait is good.  He actually is not that bad, too bad his eye and hair colour is the same as Melon.

Next up is Weetabix.

Weetabix: Ew.

 

Here is Weetabix after his makeover.  His new trait is Artistic.  He is refreshingly different and is my favourite for heir currently.  I will wait and see what the other children turn out like first though.

Now then on to more birthdays.

Maya: Can’t I stay young?

Nope, the world doesn’t work like that.

Nolan: oh shit, I’m next. 😥

Maya: 😦

Nolan: My son is a work of art.

Melon: Thanks dad 😀

 

I got rid of that hideous dress and gave her back her hair. (with aqua tips.)  She is actually not bad as an elder.

Nolan: I wish to not grow old.

Cake: Wish granted. 😀

Nolan: He he.

Magrat: Um, what’s that noise?

Tobias & Nolan: OMG FIRE!!!

Maya: *faints*

Oh nolan -5

Firefighter: I swear how many times do I have to tell people to limit the number of candles they put on this cakes.

Melon: PUT IT OUT! PUT IT OUT!

Weetabix & All Bran: *annoyingly high screams*

Tobias: This never happened in my day.

Ok let’s try this again.

Nolan: Sweet!

I think not. What is it with you and that hair.

He does redeem himself by looking cute on the rocking horse.

All Bran: Read me a bedtime story grandpa.

Oh no not this again. Can’t you just go to bed!

Um Nolan? Shouldn’t you be going to work.

Nolan: I’m old now, I can do what I want.

Nolan: Pretty much.

All Bran: Grandma, Story?

Maya: Why haven’t you changed my outfits yet. I would rather die than go out looking like this.

Coco: Is death all she thinks about now?

Aw look they found Melon & Kiwi’s old bunk beds.

Tobias: She’s in my spot again.

I swear when he pulled this face I thought he was on the way out. No, he was just thinking about the ice cream machine. -.-

Maya: But I was going to eat that. 😦

Magrat: It was burnt beyond all recognition. Trust me I’m doing you a favour.

Oh look I haven’t cleared away the wedding stuff.

Tobias: Splashy, Splashy!

Magrat: Oooh not again!

Magrat: huff huff. Why must I do this alone?

Where are the others you ask?

They simply don’t care.

 

Well, no one but Maya cares.

Maya: She’s having a baby! What do I do?

Really? after having SIX children, that’s all you can say?

Magrat: It’s coming!

It’s a girl! still not yellow. 😦

Anyway this is Cookie Crisp.  She is a Genius and loves the outdoors.

She is named after this sickly sweet kids cereal. Honestly who thought soggy cookies was a great idea for a breakfast cereal?

Maya was first on hand to tend to Cookie Crisp (to be known hereafter as CC).

I also tweeked the nursery a bit to make it more neutral.

Magrat: Want to make another?

Melon: Tell me she didn’t just eat that fly.

Fine I wont tell you.

They chose to do it in the shower.

Mr McQuakers: My innocence is ruined.

Melon finds time to paint again.  This looks a bit creepy though.

I prettified Tobias’ corner.

This is how he rewards me.

Tobias: It was the cat, I swear.

Piper: *howl* I’m getting old.

Maya & Nolan: YAY!

Weetabix: That’s a bit mean.

That hair again. She is cute though so I forgive her. I have been dying to use that hair for ages.

Melon: In you go sweetie. We are all too lazy to teach you ourselves.

 

To end this chapter I can announce that Magrat is pregnant again. 😀 Isn’t it great!

Magrat: Bleurgh! Doesn’t look that great from this angle.

Chapter 3.7 Maybe I could use my magic to make him yellow

I’m back from my trip to London with another instalment of the Mendoza ISBI.  Had a great time in London. Saw Wicked and the poppies at the Tower of London.

Melon: This is the Melon show! Get to me now!

Melon: Me! Me! Me!

Melon: But it takes too long. You should start with a photo of me every time, that’s what my fans want.

I downloaded these neat baby monitors from the store and now have them all over the house, they are fantastic! All the adults are so much more attentive. I wish I had them with the quads.

Melon is changing the nappy of one of the burritos at the changing table I got from the store.  It’s the only time it was used. 😡

Melon: Dad, can you grab the other baby please.

Tobias: What other baby? I don’t see another one. *almost impales baby on cane.*

This is where Tobias was going BTW. He was so close.

Nolan: Hurry up I want cake.

First up is….

Weetabix.  Not yellow but blue hair and nice brown eyes.  Nice change from pink.

 

Maya: Where’s Dad?

Melon: You don’t want to know.

Next to the cake is..

 

All Bran.  Looks like he got all his colouring from Melon.  His fav colour is green so his hair looks exactly like Mulberry’s with the altered tips.

All Bran: I still cute? You still wuv me? ❤

Aw, how could I not.

This is where Tobias was.  He is really trying my patience.  It is taking all my will power not to kill him via MC.

Tobias is not the only one who has a liking for the rocking chairs.  Magrat is always in one.  She doesn’t let her duties as a mother slip though.

Magrat: Maybe I could use my magic to make him yellow.

Um, no.

This is something I didn’t realise with these monitors.  Toddlers can call the adults to them.  Little All Bran here abuses this a LOT.  He is a little attention hog.

All Bran: But I get lonely. 😥

Melon: Now that the kids are settled, want to make more?

Magrat: I thought you’d never ask.

Nolan: It’s easier when there’s only two.

Yup we have a witch in the family, isn’t it great!  On another note in case you haven’t noticed the boys have matching bunny babygrows.  I just can’t resist doing that with multiples.

 

Maya: YES, I RULE!

Maya is pleased because she is now at level 8 of Business and therefore completed her LTW.  I think this is one of the easiest LTW for an ISBI, no skilling needed.  I used her final controlled action as TH to change for work setting to ‘hold meetings.  She did the rest all on her own.
